Standard Returns & Exchanges We offer exchanges or store credit for items returned within 14 days of delivery with the exception of fine art prints and items that are personalized or custom ordered. Please note:

No Cash Refunds: We do not offer cash refunds (with the exception of the EU 14-day cooling-off period).

Condition: Items must be returned in their original, pristine condition.

Packaging: To protect the book and its corners, all returns must be shipped in their original packaging and the original shipping box.

Shipping: The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Items sent back to us without a prior return authorization will not be accepted.
Damaged or Incorrect Items Please inspect your order upon arrival. In a rare event that an item is received damaged, defective, or incorrect, we request that you contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@theshiftison.com so we can evaluate the issue and work quickly to make it right.
To facilitate a resolution, please provide your order number and clear photographic documentation of both the damaged item and the exterior packaging. Once the claim is reviewed, we will arrange for a suitable resolution.
Return Shipping Requirements: To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be sent back in their original packaging using the original shipping box. This is essential to prevent bending or damage to the book and its corners during transit. Items returned in insufficient packaging that result in damage may not be eligible for a full credit or exchange.
Exceptions / non-returnable items: Certain items are ineligible for return, including custom products (such as special orders or personalized items) and fine art prints. To ensure the archival integrity of the editions we provide to our collectors, fine art prints are considered final sale once they have been dispatched.
Furthermore, we do not accept returns on sale items, gift cards, or subscriptions. While subscription fees are non-refundable once processed, you may cancel your subscription prior to your next renewal date to prevent future billing and the shipment of subsequent issues.

Exchanges: The most efficient way to exchange an item is to initiate a return. Once your return is received and accepted, our team will process the exchange for your preferred item. Please note that if the new item is of higher value, the price difference must be settled before the exchange is finalized and shipped.
European Union 14-Day-Cooling-Off Period:
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification.

Exclusions: This right of withdrawal does not apply to custom or personalized items made to your specifications.

Requirements: As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with all original packaging (including the original shipping box), and proof of purchase.
Refunds & Store Credit
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you regarding the approval of your request.

Standard Returns: Approved returns are issued as store credit, which will be sent to your email address immediately upon approval.

EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period: In accordance with EU consumer protection laws, residents of the European Union are entitled to a refund to their original payment method if the return is initiated within 14 days of receipt.
If a refund to your original payment method is approved (for eligible EU orders), please allow up to 10 business days for the transaction to process. Note that banking institutions may require additional time to post the credit to your account.

Subscription Policy: By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that your membership includes an initial and recurring payment feature. The Shift accepts responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation.

Cancellation: Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled at any time through your The Shift Seal Subscription Customer Portal, accessible via the link in your original confirmation email for your subscription. Billing Cycles: To avoid being billed for the next cycle, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your next scheduled renewal date.

Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable once processed. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will continue to receive the remaining issues in your current term, and your subscription will not renew thereafter.
